I was born and raised in California.
I come from a traditional Mexican family.
And I am the mother to one and the sister to seven.
I dated my husband for 8 years before we got married.
I said “Yes!” to the first wedding dress I tried on. It truly was love at first sight.
After giving birth to my daughter- Kamilah, I lost a lot of hair. There was hair all over my house! I thought I was going bald, but I didn’t. Yay!
I have a BS degree in Biology and I’m a quarter away from completing a degree in Business Administration.
For fun I love reading books. My faves are business and beauty related. The book I’m reading now is The 9 Steps To Financial Freedom by Suze Orman. And I’m loving it!
I enjoy watching the History channel and TLC.
My favorite shows are the Nostradamus Effect and The Little Couple.
I was 12 when I shaved my legs for the first time. (It makes me laugh when I think about that day. I remember that summer like it was yesterday. I wanted to wear shorts. So, I shaved. And then I went and asked my mom if it was okay to shave. Hahaha, she said “No! You’re too young.”)
The first makeup product that I ever bought and wore was a Wet n Wild lipstick. The shade I used was blackberry. And guess what? I couldn’t wear makeup either. So, I would only put it on at school and take it off before I got home.
My favorite caffeine drink is Coca-Cola. I prefer it over coffee.
And I can’t live without concealer. It’s my must have beauty item.
