I went to Big Lots the other day and went straight to the beauty section, like always. I looked around for a bit. Sometimes you can find great deals at Big Lots if you take the time to actually look for them. Anyways, I spotted a few things, one of which was a tube of Fremman’s Bare Foot Creamy Pumice Foot Scrub for $2.99. I saved a buck, yay! (I think? Hahaha… if I told my dad look I saved a buck on this scrub. He’ll say something like “oh, you didn’t save a buck, you spent $2.99!” )

What they say:
Tea Tree Oil Soothes Tired Feet
- Scrubs away rough, dry, flaky skin
- Not tested on animals
Extracts of plum and peppermint invigorate your feet while exfoliating the rough, dry patches on soles and heels. Now with tea tree oil to soothe and relax tired feet.

Now, here’s what I say:
I’ve been using this scrub every other day and so far, I think it’s just okay. I don’t know if it’s just the tube that I picked up, but the scrub seems watered down. I was expecting it to be a lot more creamier. I’ve tried using it in the shower, and believe me that was a completely waste of time and product. The friggin scrub just slipped off my feet and went down the drain! Grrrr!
The smell? I don’t have a problem with it. It smells kinda fruity. I guess it’s the plum. You can’t really smell any of the peppermint or at least I couldn’t. But yeah, the smell isn’t too bad.

One good thing about this foot scrub, is that it does have a lot of the little scrubby things in it. So if you can manage to keep it on your feet, it will do wonders for your feet. It will keep them looking nice and feeling smooth.
After trial and error, I came to the conclusion that this scrub actually works better if you put it on a pumice stone and if you exfoliate while your feet are NOT under running water. Instead, soak your feet for a few minutes in warm water, pat dry and grab the pumice stone with a little bit of the foot scrub on it and simply massage your feet.
Trust me, your feet will feel and look nicer.
Overall: Well, I’m not sure about this foot scrub. I mean, I did get smother feet when I started using it with a pumice stone. But I’m just not 100% sure it was because of the scrub or if it was the pumice stone. When I tried using the scrub on its own, the water kept washing it away and it was a bit hard to exfoliate my feet with it. But as soon as I used it outside of the shower and with the stone, I definitely saw a huge difference since it was staying on my feet long enough to exfoliate them.
Have any of you used this scrub before? So, how did it work out for you?
