What fun…a makeup brush review!
Eco Tools 6 Piece Brush Set ($12.99) is the kind of makeup brushes every earth-friendly beauty fanatic must have. They are 100% cruelty free! Meaning no animal died or was hurt in the making of any of these products. Yay!
Here’s what comes in the set:
- blush brush
- eye shading brush
- eyeliner brush
- lash and brow groomer
- concealer brush
- cosmetic brush roll (made of cotton and hemp)
The makeup brushes also come packaged in a reusable storage pouch. I have no idea what to use it for, but its there. Also theirs an earth-friendly tip on the back of each package.
Here’s the tip on the back of my package:
Green Tip: Turn the water off while brushing your teeth, washing your hands and washing dishes in order to conserve water.
I already knew that!…You did too, right?
They’re made of natural and recycled material:
My favorite item form the set is the blush brush. The bristles are made of synthetic taklon, and they are super soft. I use this brush to apply my blushes and bronzers. It does its job and I don’t have anything negative to say about it. I love it!
All the other brushes are just as good.
The concealer brush is soft, the tip is round and it works great. The lash & brow groomer has worked for me. I like that the brow brush isn’t extremely stiff. And the lash comb is sturdy. These two brushes both do what they’re suppose to do and I’m happy about that.
The eye shadow brush is soft, and thin. But it doesn’t pick up eyeshadow that well. It’s very similar to the size and shape of the concealer brush.
So…I don’t use it to apply my eyeshadow. Instead, I use it to apply concealer and eye primer makeup.
The eye liner brush. Now this one I absolutely love. Its angled and thin enough to perfectly line your eyes. It’s silky and an absolute must. I love my eco-tool eyeliner brush!
With most inexpensive brushes you tend to lose a few hairs when they are new but not with these. I’ve used them to put on my makeup. I’ve already washed them a couple of times and I haven’t experienced any fallout.
These brushes blew me away. I mean for what I paid…these brushes are a true beauty find.
